EASTERN TAILED-BLUE, ( Capido comyntas)
Easily one of the most common butterflies found in the eastern half of the U.S. It is the only tailed blue found in the east. It flies from spring to fall with three broods and can be found in many different habitats. While out photographing, I’ve seen over 100 per day.
