BRONZE COPPER, (Lycaena hyllus)
A larger and gorgeous copper butterfly locally common around any wet area with dock, its larval foodplant, growing. This butterfly is found in the northeastern U.S. and west to the Great Plains then north into Canada. It flies from spring to fall with one to three broods.
