SHERIDAN’S HAIRSTREAK, (Callophrys sheridanii)
A lovely green hairstreak that has several subspecies and has up to 3 broods in the western U.S. In North Dakota, where I’ve photographed extensively, my good friend and butterfly expert, Professor Ronald Royer, had searched for this butterfly with no luck.
