CABBAGE WHITE, (Pieris rapae)
One of the most abundant butterflies across North America. This species is native to Europe and was accidentally introduce to NA and has since spread quickly. As a caterpillar, it eats plants in the mustard family such as cabbage and is therefore considered a pest. It flies from spring to fall with multiple broods and coats the radiators of millions of cars each summer.
