A group of 80 species found mostly in Africa and Asia.  There is one representative in North America, the Harvester.  This unique butterfly has carnivorous larvae that feed on woolly aphids.  They like wooded or semi-wooded areas near streams with trees such as alders that have woolly aphid colonies.  They can be found in the eastern half of the U.S.
