Very similar looking to the Northern Cloudywing (Thorybes pylades), and Southern Cloudywing (Thorybes bathyllus), and difficult to separate in the field.  Found in the southeast fourth of the US.  There are some areas of the U.S. where all three cloudywings are found together.  There are 2 broods flying from late spring to early summer.
