NORTHERN PEARLY-EYE, (Enodia anthedon)
A common northeastern U.S. butterfly that is never far from woods.  They prefer darker woods and can be active at dusk.  They also can be found at mud, carrion, sap and scat.  It flies from spring to summer with 1 to 2 broods.
