COMMON WOOD-NYMPH, (Cercyonis pegala)
A large and common satyr found throughout most of the U.S. and the southern half of Canada.  There is one summer brood.  It is found in woodland edges and fields, but not in deep woods.  This is one of the few satyrs that can be regularly found at flowers.
