GEMMED SATYR, (Cyllopsis gemma)
A small woodland satyr that is always found close to the ground.  The common name comes from the shiny silvery patch on the underside of the hind wings.  There are up to three broods flying during the warm months.  It is found throughout the southeastern forth of the U.S.
