CAROLINA SATYR, (Hermeuptychia sosybius)
A very common woodland butterfly found in the southeastern forth of the U.S. and south to the tropics.  It flies from spring to summer with 1 to 3 broods.  They seem to constantly be on the move except at dawn and dusk when they bask to get the first or last rays of the sun.
