MILBERT’S TORTOISESHELL, (Aglais milberti)
A common and distinctive butterfly found in a wide swath through most of the middle of North America. It flies from spring to fall with 1 to 2 broods. It avidly visits flowers and can be found in city parks, meadows and along most wet areas.
