GRAY COMMA, (Polygonia progne)
A butterfly found in woodlands from the northeastern U.S. up through the Midwest and up to northern British Columbia.  Not as common as other anglewings, it flies from spring to fall with 1 to 2 broods.  Like all anglewings, it is an excellent leaf mimic.
